I took the inventory menu from Forget Me Not: My Organic Garden, and did some adjustments since the game had some little things that I thought felt a little off and wanted to see how my changes would make it look.

Original Inventory Menu

This menu is pretty consistent with the kerning(space between characters) distances. There was some oddly placed dashes to separate quality inventory. There was labels completely missing from the pickled inventory, and even though there was an Icon for mincemeat they chose not to use it. The placement of the mincemeat also feels so far away from the other inventory items. (Below everything described is marked by red)

My Changes to the Menu

Here I have made several changes, I at first tried to find either the same or similar font because I think it is very fitting to the games theme and art style. Sadly I could not find the font on my own so I just used photoshop to fix the kerning and create the new word "Pickled". I removed the slashes including the odd no function one at the end of the border, and replaced them with a vertical pipe to make it look cleaner and have an even distance between the two qualities. I also moved the mincemeat to align with the rest of the inventory and added the image of the mincemeat. I showed the new screen to someone for feedback, they pointed out how the colors of the mincemeat and pickled were super close and that I should change it. I recognize the feedback but due to time I decided it was fine enough for my assignment turn in.
